Northern Colorado Self-Sufficiency Standard Release Event
What does it really take to make it in Larimer & Weld counties?
The income needed to meet the costs of basic needs has increased in all Colorado counties since 2001, and Larimer and Weld counties are at the top of the list. Women, particularly single mothers, experience higher levels of income inadequacy and are more likely to struggle. For example, a single mother with a pre-schooler and a school-age child making $15 per hour must work 69 hours per week in Weld County or 75 hours per week in Larimer County just to make ends meet for her family.

The program will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. Light food and beverages will be provided.
