Community Initiatives & Investments

Through Research, We Pinpoint the needs of women & girls in communities statewide

We are dedicated to diversity and inclusiveness in all of our efforts.

In 2016, The Women’s Foundation of Colorado awarded more than $941,000 in grants to help women and girls on their paths to economic self-sufficiency. WFCO’s strategic statewide grantmaking program funded 32 organizations throughout Colorado. Other sources, including donor-advised funds held at WFCO; Beyond Our Borders, a group-advised fund held at WFCO; and the Girls’ Leadership Council funded an additional 36 organizations in Colorado and beyond.

The Women’s Foundation of Colorado’s grant guidelines, updated in alignment with The Foundation’s 2017-2021 strategic plan, will be released in June 2017.
